DESIGN REASONING
Condition
The apartment had to be built over the terrace of an existing shop and respond to a young family seeking outdoor space and views of the Tigre River.
Operation
Two terraces separate contemplation and activity: one faces the river and another contains a barbecue pavilion and sun deck; a large roof controls solar exposure.
Outcome
The home incorporates differentiated outdoor use and thermal comfort without losing its visual relationship with downtown Tigre.
