DESIGN REASONING
Condition
The competition called for a temporary pavilion in Parque Centenario, capable of hosting information, interaction and a recognizable landmark without becoming permanent construction.
Operation
Overlapping tensile structures at different heights form a modular, demountable system; a central sculptural piece organizes orientation and circulation.
Outcome
Visitors move through a sequence of information panels beneath a lightweight roof, while the assembly adapts to a limited timeframe and park conditions.
Materialization
Tensioned fabric, steel cables and a metal structure provide the lightness and disassembly envisioned by the proposal.
